“Dark Matter” was released as a limited edition white label and, on its first week of release, Pete Tong played it as part of his Weekend Hot Mix. He played it two more times in his Weekend Hot Mix and played it as part of the Buzz Chart when it went top ten at the end of February. In 2006 top DJ Anil Chawla told me “Dark Matter rules. It was a big track for me last year”. Dark Matter was on Sander Kleinenberg’s mix CD, released on Monday 7 November 2005 called “This is Everybody! On Tour”. DJ Magazine said “In ‘Dark Matter’ West London Deep follow up ‘Inside My Head’ with another absorbing minimal house number. Less-is-most-definitely-more as Dave Hedger employs a gauzy arrangement to create the perfect synergy for the track’s austere beats and tribal aggression to which he affixes equally abstract vocals.”
