“Tongue Tied” on Kiss Podcast
“Tongue Tied” is one of the unsigned tunes chosen to be showcased on a unique new podcast from Kiss 100. The podcast can be downloaded from the Kiss website (www.kiss100.com) or via iTunes and is the first in a planned series.
The first ‘Kiss Podcast – Unsigned’ features nine free unsigned tracks from UK artists chosen by Kiss 100 DJs and spans Hip Hop, Grime and House.
For the podcast Steve Smart, who hosts the Kiss 100 Saturday Night Floorfillers Show, selected “Tongue Tied” along with Teamsters’ “Feels Like Love (Morjac Remix)” and Tom Neville’s “These Beats”.
About “Tongue Tied”, Steve said: Dave Hedger aka West London Deep, has done loads for Wall Of Sound and stacks of remixes over the years. This track has the oddest vocal usage I have ever heard.

West London Deep are once again on the PIAS/Wall of Sound “Love And Good Times At The Red Bull Mansion” mix CD, free with DJ Magazine (15 – 28 March 06) and mixed by Mekon.

“Tongue Tied” has been snapped up by Joe T Vannelli (the Italian Pete Tong) for his label Dream Beat. It is released today with “It’s Later Than You Think” on the B Side.
Dark Matter on Sander Kleinenberg Mix CD
Dark Matter is on Sander Kleinenberg’s new mix CD, released on Monday 7 November. The CD is a two disk affair called “This is Everybody! On Tour”. Lee Burridge contributes the mix for CD1 and Sander lays down the tracks on CD2.
West London Deep DJ at The End
Dave and Ollie put on a special dex ‘n’ fx show at The End in London last night as part of Darren Emerson’s Underwater night. They were on just before the live set by new Underwater signing PNAU and went down a storm.
“Tongue Tied” Top in Italy
Joe T Vannelli, the Pete Tong of Italy, has put “Tongue Tied” at the top of his chart.
Joe T Vannelli is the biggest DJ in Italy and his radio show has made him the country’s version of Pete Tong. He has just put “Tongue Tied” at the top of his chart, ahead of tunes by Deep Dish, LCD Soundsystem, Goldfrapp and Depeche Mode.

Last night Pete Tong played “Tongue Tied” as part of his Essential Selection Weekend Hot Mix. He said there were “A lot of hotties in here” and the tunes were “Quite a handful”.
